Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced Jan. 26 two additions to its staff as the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season approaches, including 2012 Indianapolis 500 pole winner Ryan Briscoe.

Former INDYCAR SERIES driver Briscoe, who won eight series races during his time with Team Penske, Chip Ganassi Racing and others, has joined RLL as a driver coach for Graham Rahal, Louis Foster and Mick Schumacher. He most recently operated in a similar role at PREMA Racing’s INDYCAR SERIES program after having competed for that team early in his career.

Respected engineer Mike Pawlowski has joined the team as Schumacher’s race engineer. His INDYCAR SERIES engineering experience spans stints at teams such as Andretti Autosport, Chip Ganassi Racing, A.J. Foyt Racing and Forsythe Championship Racing, among others. In addition to Briscoe and Pawlowski, several key personnel have been added across the INDYCAR SERIES program.

“Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing has the foundation, infrastructure and commitment,” team president Jay Frye said. “We have made multiple, impactful strategic additions this offseason, the latest being Ryan and Mike as we position our INDYCAR program to compete at a high level on a weekly basis.”

The 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season begins Sunday, March 1 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, with live coverage on FOX Sports, FOX One, FOX Deportes and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
