Announcer

Alex Wollf is a proud Buckeye but has Hoosier ties through his time at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Alex has worked at WIMA Radio in his hometown of Lima, Ohio since 2011 where he can be heard calling high school football and basketball. In addition, he anchors their racing coverage of events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the month of May. By joining the INDYCAR Radio Network, Alex fulfills a dream that dates back to the first time he listened to the “Voices From The Speedway” CD in 2003. A 2010 Ball State graduate (a class that included network veteran Nick Yeoman), Alex spent time as a media intern for the United States Auto Club under the legendary Dick Jordan and four years as announcer for the UMRA TQ Midgets. Alex is excited to join this talented crew and honored to be a small part of the great history of the network.
