3 – Positions gained by Graham Rahal (7th to 4th), James Hinchcliffe (8th to 5th) and Juan Pablo Montoya (14th to 11th) in the final nine laps of the race.

3.71 – Average running position of race winner Simon Pagenaud for the 90 laps of racing at Mid-Ohio.

4.99 – Average running position of Pagenaud during the 2016 season.

5 – Consecutive podium finishes for Will Power. Sunday’s finish was the 54th of his career.

6 – Times teammates have finished first and second in a 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series race. Team Penske has done it five times this year.

7 – Finish for Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate Spencer Pigot, his best finish in the Verizon IndyCar Series. Twenty-one (21) drivers have recorded at least one top-10 finish this season.

8 – Indy car wins for Pagenaud, which tied him for 46th on the all-time list with Louis Meyer, Rex Mays, Eddie Sachs, Buddy Lazier and Bruno Junqueira.

15 – Career second-place finishes for Power, which ranks 20th on the all-time list with Sam Hornish Jr., Roger McCluskey and Tony Bettenhausen.

16 – Positions improved by Conor Daly (22nd to sixth), most of any of the 22 starters. Daly leads the TAG Heuer “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” Award standings by four over Rahal.

20 – Laps in which Hinchcliffe improved his position, most of any driver.

33 – Laps led by Mikhail Aleshin at Mid-Ohio, easily a career high. Aleshin had led only four laps in his career prior to Mid-Ohio.

58 – Points separating championship leader Pagenaud from Power in the Verizon IndyCar Series standings. In 2015, Montoya led Scott Dixon by 54 points with four races to go. Dixon won the championship on a tiebreaker.

261 –  Consecutive starts by Tony Kanaan, extending his all-time record.

323 – Indy car starts for Castroneves which ranks fourth on the all-time list. Kanaan ranks fifth on the list with his 322 starts.
