NBCSN will review the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season with a 30-minute year-end recap show on Jan. 5.
"IndyCar Year in Review," hosted by NBCSN’s lead motorsports announcer Leigh Diffey, will feature highlights of the exciting season in which Scott Dixon claimed his fourth series title and a one-on-one interview with Bob Jenkins and INDYCAR team co-owner and late night tv legend David Letterman. The program is slated to air at 5 p.m. (ET).
NBCSN’s presentation of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series was the most-watched IndyCar season on the network since IndyCar rights were acquired in 2009.
NBCSN’s 2015 IndyCar coverage of 11 races was up 34 percent from the network’s average viewership from 2014.
