Providing immersive real-time data to INDYCAR 14 app users, the Cosworth Live On Air system has been launched just in time for the Month of May action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Cosworth technology already plays a role in the Verizon IndyCar Series as electronics are fitted on all cars to enable series officials to monitor data and ensure compliance to regulations. The new Live on Air solution will use that existing infrastructure to take the racing experience to a new level for fans, teams and partners.

Car data is streamed to the pit complex, where it is used for timing and scoring and also fed to teams and into the INDYCAR14 app. This data will be used to generate new, engaging content.
