Rob Blackman has for more than a decade served as pregame/halftime/postgame anchor as well as producer for Purdue University football, following three seasons as sideline reporter and three seasons as co-host of “Boilermaker Sports Wrap.” Blackman recently took over as the play-by-play voice of Purdue Men's basketball after spending 15 seasons as the color commentator for the late Larry Clisby on the Boilermaker Sports Network. In the spring, he does radio play-by-play for Purdue baseball. Blackman also does play-by-play and reporting for BTN. In addition, Blackman can be seen on the Indiana High School Athletic Association television network covering the football, basketball and baseball state finals and serves as a pit reporter for the INDYCAR Radio Network. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Evansville, where he earned his degree in telecommunications and was a four-year letter winner as a wide receiver on the football team. Rob and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Evan and Lily.
