We all know that racers like to play games. So, even when there was a red flag on Sunday the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by America’s First, it was only a little surprising to see Chevrolet teams slowing down with a game of Twitter tic-tac-toe. Looking further down the chain, though, we’re not sure who won and suggest they stick to INDYCAR racing.


A clean seat is a happy seat

The internet almost broke when Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver James Hinchcliffe hilariously detailed an unfortunate fact of racing: Sometimes, drivers get stuck in their race cars when they really need a bathroom break. And sometimes the race car becomes the bathroom for the break. Such was the fate of Hinch at Barber.

‘No possible way you can do that without just grinning’ – Channing Tatum

Among the fans who braved the soaking weather at Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday was A-list actor Channing Tatum, who said he giggled through a rainy ride as he and Honda Fastest Seat in Sports driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. led the field to the green flag in the INDYCAR two-seater.

Before it landed on newsstands in the “Racing Capital of the World,” Indianapolis Monthly tweeted a sneak peek Chip Ganassi Racing driver Scott Dixon and his wife, Emma, who are on this month’s cover. The racing royals look particularly fetching in Dixon’s No. 9 PNC Bank Honda.


‘Hug someone you love tonight’ – James Hinchcliffe

When news of the tragedy of the Toronto van attack, which claimed the lives of 10 people in Canada’s deadliest mass killing in decades, got to Hinchcliffe, he took to Twitter to express grief about what happened in his home city.
