BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- With threatening weather looming in the area today, INDYCAR has revised the schedule for today's Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by America's First at Barber Motorsports Park.

The command for drivers to start their engines for the Verizon IndyCar Series race has been moved to 3:01 p.m. ET (2:01 p.m. local), with the green flag expected to wave at 3:08 p.m. ET. The race is scheduled for 90 laps or two hours on the 2.3-mile permanent road course.

NBCSN and the Advance Auto Parts INDYCAR Radio Network will still provide complete race coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET. The race telecast will also stream live through NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Live timing and scoring will be available at RaceControl.IndyCar.com.

Another schedule change for today advances the start of the race in Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires -- the top level of the Mazda Road to Indy development ladder -- to 11:45 a.m. ET. A live stream is available at RaceControl.IndyCar.com.
