There have been seven different winners in the eight years of the IZOD IndyCar Series race at Sonoma Raceway. Will there be a ninth winner in the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma on Aug. 25?

Aug. 23 -- Practice 1 (2-2:45 p.m.)
                Practice 2 (5-5:45 p.m.)

Aug. 24 -- Practice 3 (2-2:45 p.m.)
                Qualifications for the Verizon P1 Award (5:30 p.m.)

Aug. 25 -- Practice 4 (1-1:30 p.m.)
                85-lap GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma (4 p.m.)

NBC Sports Network will broadcast qualifications at 9 p.m. (ET) Aug. 24 and has the race broadcast at 4 p.m. Aug. 25.

Will Power, driving the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske car, set the track record of 1 minute, 17.2709 seconds in qualifying in 2012 on the 2.385-mile, 12-turn road course. Ryan Briscoe, who was driving for Team Penske, won the race last August. He's driving the No. 4 National Guard Panther Racing car this weekend.
