FORT WORTH, Texas -- Travis Pastrana has won championships and X Games gold medals in several events, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross and rally racing.

But he had a different view of a racetrack in the back seat of an Indy Racing Experience two-seater on the 1.5-mile, high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval. And Mario Andretti was the driver.

“The whole time I was like, ‘Oh no, oh no!’ It was awesome, though," he said. "I actually didn’t think it was going to be that exciting, but it was really cool.

“I would have loved to have been in the front seat. I tell you what, being in the back seat, he came around the corner and didn’t lift, we’re wide open and I was like, ‘I hope it sticks and nothing that I can do or say right now would change the outcome of this at all.’ So that part I don’t like, but it was good.”
