He followed it the next week with a 10th place on Texas Motor Speedway oval. … Led the race at Pocono Raceway for 31 laps. … Was running at the finish in 15 of the 16 races and completed 2,211 of the 2,232 total laps (mechanical issue in penultimate race at Pocono stopped the streak). He was second to Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport among all drivers in laps completed. … Had a best qualifying of 12th at Milwaukee (19.3 average) and an average finishing position of 14.4. … Started the season with 10 consecutive races in which he improved upon his qualifying position.
