Scott appears daily in Indianapolis as anchor of WISH-TV’s Daybreak. For the last 15 years, he’s also been the station’s lead Indianapolis 500 news anchor, spending 6 hours each race morning, roaming the pits, pagoda, Gasoline Alley to show viewers how the Speedway wakes up on its biggest day. Until now, he has always sprinted from his television location to the Southeast Vista, just before the Parade Laps, to join family in the seats they’ve had for decades. In 2021, he joins the INDYCAR Radio Network for his own "rookie season" as a pit reporter for the 500. Scott calls it the biggest thrill of his career.
