1 – Lap led by Ed Jones, his first lap led in the Verizon IndyCar Series.

2 – Positions gained by Sebastien Bourdais in the final 25 laps of the race (10th to eighth).

3.34 –- Average running position for winner Scott Dixon during the 248 laps of racing at Texas. Only Robert Wickens (3.24 for 171 laps) and runner up Simon Pagenaud (3.27 for 248 laps) were better than Dixon.

14 – Positions gained by Graham Rahal, most of any driver.

34 – Laps in which Jones improved his position, most of any driver.

43 – Indy car wins for Dixon, which gives him sole possession of third on the all-time list.

63 – Total positions gained by Rahal in 2018.

100 - Indy car podiums for Dixon, which ties him with Michael Andretti for third on the all-time list.

140 - Total on-track passes made by Alexander Rossi in the three oval races, so far. Nearly half of the passes (66 of 140) have been for position.

292 – Consecutive starts by Tony Kanaan, extending his all-time Indy car record.
