Indianapolis 500 Tiny House

INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND … THE CAPTAIN

Roger Penske was the talk of the racing world on social media as word got around that he manned his Team Penske pit stand for the duration of the Rolex 24 At Daytona. To no one’s disappointment, the internet delivered one-liners akin to those of the Chuck Norris phenomenon.

While most of us were impressed, one Twitter user showed up to rain on the parade, sort of.

Can’t win ‘em all.

GANASSI MILESTONE

This weekend’s win at the Rolex 24 At Daytona was a memorable one for Chip Ganassi and company as it marked the team’s 200th victory in all forms of motorsports. Congrats, Chip Ganassi Racing!

PURE GOLD

A GIF of Alexander Rossi making his way through a room of belly dancers from a recent episode of “The Amazing Race” earned golden approval from fellow Amazing Racer, Jessica Graf of #TeamBigBrother.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED … SORT OF

James Hinchcliffe continues his “audition” for former teammate Sharna Burgess’ “Dancing with the Stars” tour tickets again and it’s even better than the last week’s video.

500-VILLE

The tiny house trend is coming to Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May and INDYCAR drivers are here for it.

TOGETHER FOR TOWNSEND

The racing community banded together to spread the word about the stolen racing memorabilia of Townsend Bell, the NBCSN analyst for Verizon IndyCar Series races and 10-time Indy 500 starter. Like the rest of us, please keep a watchful eye out for his hard-earned hardware.
