Robert Wickens and James Hinchcliffe

INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

IT'S A NEW ERA FOR SCHMIDT PETERSON DUO

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports teammates James Hinchcliffe and Robert Wickens took their design skills to New Era Cap, where they provided input on some upcoming merch (below) and managed to get in a little friendly hockey competition (above).

‘AMAZING'-LY BUSY TIME FOR ROSSI, DALY

As you might imagine, “The Amazing Race” premiere kept #TeamINDYCAR members Alexander Rossi and Conor Daly plenty busy out west in LA. Here’s some of what they were up to:

‘I’M COMING FOR YOU, SIMON PAGENAUD'

This fan-made meme “won the Internet for the day” in Simon Pagenaud’s mind and we don’t disagree. Credit to @RahalFanatic15 on Twitter for the quick edit on a photo shoot with Team Penske’s Rolex 24 At Daytona drivers that produced a cheeky meme. Well played.

BACK-TO-BACK BIRTHDAYS AGAIN

It was another week with multiple INDYCAR birthdays. Graham Rahal’s fell on Jan. 4 and JR Hildebrand’s was on Jan. 3. To celebrate, JR took to the bike trails for a little birthday adventure.

MEET-AND-GREET WITH A GREAT

AJ Foyt Racing teammates Tony Kanaan and Matheus Leist spent an afternoon with the boss himself at the ABC Supply Co. trade show in Orlando meeting fans. It put Leist, the Verizon IndyCar Series rookie, in pretty steep company, considering there were five Indy 500 wins and eight Indy car championships next to him.

ANOTHER WEEK, ANOTHER OVAL FOR MARCO

Instead of turning laps in his snow-covered driveway on an ATV, Marco Andretti found himself in a TQ car turning laps indoors in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Andretti Autosport teammate Ryan Hunter-Reay noticed on Instagram and commented, “Oh, that looks fun.” It sure does, Ryan, it sure does.
