Marco and Mario Andretti

INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

GO TIME

Always affable Conor Daly is taking his taking his search for a new ride for the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season in stride and, as usual, making social media jokes at his own expense. Recently, his antics featured British singer and actress Rita Ora and Daly’s younger brother Carter Boles, who we hear killed it in his high school musical, “The Music Man.”

THE BURDEN OF BEING NO. 1

It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work to drive No. 1 Chevrolet for Team Penske, as new series champion Josef Newgarden learned from 2016 champion and teammate Simon Pagenaud.

IF THE SEAT FITS

Speaking of next season, James Hinchcliffe’s new teammate, Robert Wickens, looks to be settling nicely into place at Schmidt Peterson Motorsports.

TWINNING

Marco Andretti walks in his grandfather Mario’s footsteps in and out of the race car and, apparently, stylish sports cars as well.

ALL DRESSED UP WITH SOMEPLACE TO GO

Looks like Ryan Hunter-Reay and his wife, Beccy, took an all-star crowd to Sheltair’s annual “Wings Wheels Water” event, which kicked off the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on Nov. 1. The company donated to Hunter-Reay’s charity, Racing For Cancer, and it looks like a fun time was had by everyone, including Miami Dolphins players Ryan Tannehill, Mike Hull and Anthony Fasano, as well as two-time Indy car champion and 2003 Indianapolis 500 winner Gil de Ferran, a Racing For Cancer ambassador.

DEDICATED FOLLOWER OF FASHION

Max Chilton’s Instagram never disappoints if you’re a lover of style and design. A snap of Chilton’s new friend, Sir Paul Smith, who was knighted for his service to British fashion, is for sure a great addition to his fashionable feed.
