Jim Leo, Tony Kanaan, and Scott Dixon

INDYCAR's "Fast Six" is a report derived from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We seek and find pics and quips as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly when we post the latest.

S.O.S. HOUSTON

Along with the rest of the country, Verizon IndyCar Series drivers, owners and teams are turning their attention to Houston, the hometown of “Super Tex” A.J. Foyt. Foyt’s longtime friend/rival, Mario Andretti, tweeted his thoughts about the tragic effects of Hurricane Harvey, speaking for everybody.

WHEN YOU PLAY 'GAME OF THRONES' …

Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” Season 7 finale was the show’s most-watched episode with 12.1 million viewers. Fans are still catching replays and it seems like everybody’s watching it. #HACKERS

This is the reason you shouldn’t leave your smartphone, unlocked and unattended, around Verizon IndyCar Series drivers.

MAX, PHONE HOME …

We’re not sure if we agree, but Max Chilton’s wife, Chloe, lovingly sees a resemblance between her new husband and a cuddly extraterrestrial.

WINNER, WINNER PIZZA/FRIES DINNER

Following his win at Gateway Motorsports Park, Josef Newgarden, who leads the championship by 31 points going into this weekend’s INDYCAR Grand Prix at The Glen, was apparently starving and without many options at 2 in the morning (and apparently tired, too, since he tweeted p.m. and not a.m.). Pizza and fries pair well with champagne, we think.
