BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- Two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso is attending today's Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by America's First as he prepares to drive next month in the 101st Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
Alonso will participate in a news conference at the track at noon ET. Joining the Spaniard will be: Zak Brown, executive director, McLaren Technology Group; Michael Andretti, CEO, Andretti Autosport; and Mark Miles, CEO, Hulman & Company, the parent of INDYCAR and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
