INDYCAR will host an unveiling of the Honda superspeedway aerodynamic platform at 2 p.m. (ET) April 30 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The May 3 Promoter Test on the 2.5-mile oval marks the on-track debut of superspeedway aero kits designed, manufactured and supplied by Honda and Chevrolet. Cars will be differentiated by their shapes on track as teams will have multiple options to add/remove from the package in preparations for Indianapolis 500 qualifications and the race.

Derrick Walker, INDYCAR president of Competition and Operations, and Steve Eriksen, vice president and COO of Honda Performance Development, are scheduled to speak. The 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race is May 24.
