In 2013, I took a ride in an IndyCar Experience two-seater with Mario Andretti driving on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, which I compared to seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time.
Wanting to experience how the new Speedway road course compared to racing's equivalent of one of the seven wonders of the world, I put on a firesuit and took a two-seater ride with former Indianapolis 500 competitor and Verizon IndyCar Series team co-owner Davey Hamilton behind the wheel.
