The first round of four-lap qualifications for the 98th Indianapolis 500 Mile Race commence at 11 a.m. (ET) May 17 and run through 5:50 p.m.

The session will be preceded by two hours of practice (8-9 a.m. split into two groups followed by all cars) on the 2.5-mile oval.

ABC will televise qualifications May 17 (4-6 p.m. ET) and May 18 (1-3 p.m.), with ESPN3 providing additional coverage around the TV windows.
