The first round of four-lap qualifications for the 98th Indianapolis 500 Mile Race commence at 11 a.m. (ET) May 17 and run through 5:50 p.m.

The session will be preceded by two hours of practice (8-9 a.m. split into two groups followed by all cars) on the 2.5-mile oval.

ABC will televise qualifications May 17 (4-6 p.m. ET) and May 18 (1-3 p.m.), with ESPN3 providing additional coverage around the TV windows. The IMS Radio Network broadcast both days can be heard on network affiliates, XM 209 and Sirius 213, on www.indycar.com in conjunction with Timing & Scoring and the INDYCAR 13 app.
