Join INDYCAR stars in a round at Brickyard Crossing on May 9

Two days before Opening Day of practice for the 97th Running of the Indianapolis 500, join IZOD IndyCar Series drivers, team owners/directors and TV personalities May 9 in a round of golf at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Resort in Indianapolis.
Scheduled to be paired in foursome are 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal; A.J. Foyt Racing team director Larry Foyt, who called the strategy for Takuma Sato in winning the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 21; IZOD IndyCar Series drivers Simona de Silvestro, James Jakes and Sebastian Saavedra; and ABC analyst Scott Goodyear.
The Pete Dye-designed course is unique in that four holes are located inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Registration is at 10 a.m. with tee time at 11 at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Resort. Part of the proceeds and mulligan packages will benefit INDYCAR Ministry.

INDYCAR Ministry also will host The Indy 500 Breakfast presented by Companies With A Mission on May 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Speakers include three-time Indianapolis 500 champion Johnny Rutherford, 1963 winner Parnelli Jones plus IZOD IndyCar Series driver Alex Tagliani and Indy 500 rookie competitor Conor Daly.
During the event, the “Lone Star Johnny Rutherford Award” will be presented to an INDYCAR participant who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, at the track and in the community.
