ST. PETERSURG, Fla. -- Reigning IZOD IndyCar Series champion Ryan Hunter-Reay topped the time chart in the morning warmup session for the season-opening Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

Hunter-Reay, driving the Chevrolet-powered No. 1 DHL car for Andretti Autosport, posted a lap of 1 minute, 1.9530 seconds on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn street circuit. The 110-lap race will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network at noon (ET).

Eight Honda-powered cars were in the top 10, led by Charlie Kimball in the No. 83 Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing car (1:02.0378).
