Gene Hallman, president of Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama promoter ZOOM Motorsports, talks with IMS Radio Network host Mike King about the third annual IZOD IndyCar Series race at the scenic Barber Motorsports Park and the future of the event in Alabama.

In 2011, the race weekend was voted the "best event" by the Alabama Tourism Division.

"It's just a great show of support from the entire state," Hallman said.
