Simon Pagenaud

INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about NTT IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

Isn’t “Pigot” French?

Before entering his second full-time NTT IndyCar Series season with Ed Carpenter Racing, 2015 Indy Lights champ Spencer Pigot took in Paris with his girlfriend, Katie Bell. And we completely understand his affinity for the bread there. We love Carb Day, too.

When a smart watch can only do so much

Keeping apprised of Robert Wickens’ recovery process from his Aug. 19 crash at Pocono Raceway has been nothing short of inspirational. Through the trials of his rehab, he’s shared a few lighter moments with us, including his now-infamous “Days of Thunder” hospital scene recreation with friend James Hinchcliffe. Most recently, he shared an interesting request from his new smart watch.

Speaking of Wickens’ teammate, we already knew that “Dancing with the Stars” alum James Hinchcliffe was a good dancer, but we definitely knew less about his basketball skills. The Denver Nuggets agree – we’re impressed!

Son, is that a melon on your head?

2017 series champion Simon Pagenaud is giving away hints about what we can expect from the upcoming season of the “Penske Games,” the popular video series highlighting the team’s drivers across multiple series. At least, we think he’s giving us hints. We have absolutely no idea what this might be about.

Homecoming to remember

Harding Steinbrenner Racing rookie Patricio O’Ward clearly had a blast representing INDYCAR in his home country of Mexico for the 2019 Race Of Champions. Among the highlights: edging out the amazing Johan Kristoffersson (winner of the past two FIA World Rallycross championships) in a rallycross car.

When game recognizes game

As in shape as reigning NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon is, everyone needs a little inspiration now and then. So where does a five-time series champion look? To a seven-time champion, of course.
