Beau Power’s face showed us everything daddy Will Power was apparently thinking last weekend when the No. 12 car crashed into Scott Dixon’s No. 9 on the first lap of the Honda Indy Toronto and ended his race. Sending good luck for baby smiles and giggles at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on July 30.
Down but never out
The photo Ed Jones posted on his Instagram account at the Honda Indy Toronto looks a little like an ad for an orthopedist. Instead, the snap makes our hearts happy because it’s clear Sebastien Bourdais is recovering nicely from his scary crash during Indianapolis 500 practice and Jones is taking care of his braking foot. Jones keeps posting impressive rookie-season results, so we’re glad his “Go” pedal foot isn’t affected.

James Hinchcliffe gets to race for a hometown crowd once a year at the Honda Indy Toronto and he drove his way to a podium finish for the second year in a row, making Canadians proud. Along the way, he posted this cool image:

Time warp
After a whirlwind week that included earning the pole position at the Honda Indy Toronto and a trip to Los Angeles because of his ESPY nomination, Verizon IndyCar Series champ Simon Pagenaud was up for an early flight Monday morning. Guess it was time to get on with life.
