Conor Daly

INDYCAR's "Fast Six" is a report derived from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We seek and find pics and quips as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly when we post the latest.

Let freedom roar

Indiana native Conor Daly is used to his red, white and blue ABC Supply firesuit. And on dressy occasions, he slips into an American flag-print sports jacket. But no one except Daly was prepared for the Americana-forward fashion Daly wore to the annual Andretti Fourth of July party in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

As tributes go, this ranks right up there.

Look, up in the sky …

If you thought your Fourth of July party was epic, we ask this: was it buzzed by Mario Andretti in an ultralight plane?

Wet behind the ears

Alexander Rossi went for an understated Fourth of July look and had an equally understated (but effective) way of returning Marco Andretti’s party prank.

When keepin it real goes wrong. @alexanderrossi #ThoughtIHadHim.

All-American ride

Meanwhile, in another part of the country, JR Hildebrand was celebrating Independence Day in his all-American Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

Bachelor party to the Max

Across the pond this holiday, Max Chilton was observing an international tradition: the bachelor party (or “stag” party, if you’re English). Preparing to wed longtime girlfriend, Chloe Roberts, Chilton got together with a bunch of pals, who wore “Max” hats in his honor. No idea what happened before or after these seemingly well-behaved chaps snapped this photo:

So long, PG

Conor Daly has grown up with Paul George leading his hometown NBA team, the Indiana Pacers. So, as George and the Pacers part ways, Daly posted a picture of the time he and James Hinchcliffe met up with PG and celebrity chef Guy Fieri at the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.
