Honda Indy 200 warm-up results || Qualifying results  || Starting lineup

LEXINGTON, Ohio -- Ryan Hunter-Reay, who qualified seventh for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, recorded the quickest lap of 24 entries in the race day morning warm-up at 1 minute, 06.5160 seconds on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

On his 11th lap of the scheduled 30-minute practice for the 90-lap race, the No. 28 DHL Honda for Andretti Autosport ran wide in Turn 1, spun and made right-side contact with the tire barrier in Turn 1. He was checked at the infield care center and cleared to drive.

Helio Castroneves, driving the No. 3 Hitachi Team Penske Chevrolet, was second quick with a lap of 1:06.8473 and Jack Hawksworth (1:06.8559) was third in the No. 41 ABC Supply Honda for AJ Foyt Racing.

In qualifications Aug. 1, Scott Dixon reset the track lap record on the way to earning the Verizon P1 Award. Dixon, driving the No. 9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet, recorded a best lap of 1:04.5814. Track records also have been reset this season on the streets of St. Petersburg, Long Beach and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

The green flag for Round 14 of 16 of the Verizon IndyCar Series season flies at 2:07 p.m. ET. Watch it live on CNBC, and NBCSN will telecast a re-air at 6 p.m.

Reigning Verizon IndyCar Series champion Will Power, driving the No. 1 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet, will join Dixon on the front row after posting a best lap of 1:04.6782. Sebastien Bourdais, the pole sitter for the 2014 race at Mid-Ohio, and Castroneves will be on Row 2. Josef Newgarden, a two-time winner this season, and Charlie Kimball, who won at Mid-Ohio in 2013, will share Row 3.
