Testing during the break between the Verizon IndyCar Series races at Texas Motor Speedway and Houston continues this week at the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway in preparation for the Pocono INDYCAR 500 on July 6.

Grandstands will be open to spectators both days. 

Scheduled to test June 17 are Dale Coyne Racing (Carlos Huertas, Justin Wilson) and Team Penske (Castroneves, Juan Pablo Montoya, Will Power). On June 19, Ed Carpenter Racing (Ed Carpenter), KVSH Racing (Sebastien Bourdais), KV AFS Racing (Sebastian Saavedra), Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (Graham Rahal) and Andretti Autosport (Marco Andretti, James Hinchcliffe, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Carlos Munoz) are scheduled to be on the track.

Teams and manufacturer testing last week was held at Iowa Speedway and the Milwaukee Mile.

The Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston Presented by the Greater Houston Honda Dealers doubleheader on the 1.7-mile temporary street circuit on June 28-29 commences six races over four consecutive weekends. The Iowa Corn Indy 300 presented by DeKalb under the lights July 12 follows the 500-mile Pocono race, and the Honda Indy Toronto doubleheader on July 19-20 completes stretch.

Additionally, Chip Ganassi Racing (Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan, Charlie Kimball), Schmidt Peterson Motorsports (Mikhail Aleshin) and Schmidt Peterson Hamilton Motorsports (Simon Pagenaud) are scheduled to test June 18 at Sebring International Raceway.
