Simon Pagenaud's third Verizon IndyCar Series victory came in the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the new Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Pagenaud, driving the No. 77 Schmidt Peterson Hamilton Motorsports car, is six points out of the series championship lead.
