Christian Lundgaard, the 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Rookie of the Year, completed his second season with Arrow McLaren in 2026, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet. He earned two victories, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and Road America, along with multiple podium finishes. He became only the sixth driver in series history to complete 100% of the season’s laps and finished a career-best third in the championship standings.
Before joining Arrow McLaren, Lundgaard competed for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, earning his first NTT INDYCAR SERIES victory at Toronto in 2023. He also competed in FIA Formula 2, recording two wins and six podium finishes in 2020. Earlier in his career, he captured championships in SMP F4 and Spanish F4 and earned an FIA Formula 3 race victory.
Born in Denmark, Lundgaard is the son of European Rally champion Henrik Lundgaard. He began racing alongside his older brother, Daniel, in karting, winning Danish and European karting titles. Away from the track, Lundgaard enjoys golf, playing Call of Duty on his PlayStation and watching Netflix shows, particularly NCIS.
