I grew up in a racing family. My father, Neil, raced cars throughout the midwest winning seven championships.
Jeff Harrison's First Go-KartI began my motor sports career, at the age of 8, racing motocross throughout the United States. After five years of motocross, I decided to start racing karts. With my father as my coach, success came very early for me in karts. I won the first enduro race I ever entered and by the end of my first season I won seven out of 16 races. During my karting career I won multiple championships and over 50 races.
At the age of 18, I moved up to cars. As in karts, success came early. I finished second in my first race and won the second race. Later that year, I moved to England and competed in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Championship finishing as high as 2nd.
