In 2008 this Canadian Native earned the title of the Toronto Kart Club “Rookie of the Year” honors and in 2009 was awarded a racing test with the F2000 with Andersen Racing due to his achievements in the karting circuit. In that same year he finished second in points in the Rotax Junior and Junior Honda categories in the Toronto Racing Association of Karters Championship. In 2010 he was awarded a Jim Russell Driving Scholarship for achievements at the ASN Canada FIA Karting National Championships. In 2011 he finished third in the Ontario Ford Formula Championship. In his spare time Kellett enjoys running, rowing and weight lifting. His racing goal is to compete in the IndyCar Series.

Hobbies: Formula SAE, white water kayaking, guitar, skiing, working with anything mechanical

Snapshot: I am a down to earth, Canadian kid. I was born near Toronto and grew up going to school there. Before racing, I skied and learned to white-water kayak. These are still my favorite ways to unwind, when I get the chance. While racing is my life, I also study engineering physics at university. I am currently in my third year at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Aside from racing and keeping up with school, the rest of my time is devoted to playing the guitar and keeping up with friends.

Racing goal: Climb the ranks of the Mazda Road to Indy, compete in the Verizon IndyCar Series, and win the Indy 500

Racing hero: Kimi Räikkönen

My fitness routine includes: ePitFit training program

Any pre-race rituals or superstitions: None in particular

The one talent I wish I had: I would like to speak more languages than just English and French

An interesting note about me: I am an engineering student at Queen’s University, in Kingston, Ontario
