Florian Latorre began his racing career karting in France, and in 2009, he clinched the French Cadet Championship title in his inaugural season. For the next two years, he participated in the French and Belgium KF3 Junior Championships and he became a champion once again. In 2011, the French teenager won the IAME X30 Junior European Championship and the World IAME X30 Junior Championship. In 2012, he made the transition to cars and ran in the French Formula 4 National Auto Sport Academy and earned the title Rookie of the Year.
In his first season in the Mazda Road to Indy program in 2013, Latorre had 10 top-10 finishes, 5 of those which were within the top-5. In the 14-race season, Latorre’s best finish was 2nd with one other 3rd place podium. Florian finished his rookie season 6th in points in the USF2000 Championship Standings. He returns to the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship series with Belardi Auto Racing for 2014.

2013: Finished sixth in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda with two podiums at Toronto and three additional top-five finishes… earned two Tilton Hard Charger Awards from advancing the most positions in a race at Mid-Ohio and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
2012: Graduated to cars and finished eighth at the International Auto Sport Academy Championship (Formula 4) and second in the rookie standings.
2011: Was the Iame X30 Junior World Champion and Iame X30 Junior European Champion…
also claimed the Belgium KF3 Junior Championship title and finished fourth at the Master Kart of Paris Bercy (F1 and Racing Stars Race Event in Paris).
2010: Finished fifth in the French KF3 Junior Championship and third in the Belgium KF3 Junior Championship… was a finalist in the KF3 World Cup.
2009: Finished eighth in the French Cadet Championship and third in the Bridgestone International Cup in his first year of karting.
