Pink isn't that uncommon a primary or complementary color for Indianapolis 500 Mile Race entries. Bob Sweikert won the 1955 race in a car dubbed the "Pink Zink," though the car's official color was Tropical Rose, and there have been multiple mixes through the years.

This year, Pippa Mann will attempt to qualify for her third Indy 500 in the No. 63 Dale Coyne Racing car. A cause-oriented idea sparked a promotional proposal that mushroomed into a pink platform for Mann and the Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, for the May 25 race.
